Bed bugs.
Bed bugs. Poor management. They confiscate my bag because i was short of $18, which i am willing to resolve amicably. If they can confiscate my bags which are worth nothing, that shows that they are desperate. I once stayed here in 2017 for three months, and at that time, it was superb. The management was nice, friendly and understanding. 2 years later, the whole idea about them changed and i wont recommend this hostel to anyone who wishes to travel to Singapore.

Convinance and good location near mrt ststion
No comments,I for myself this trip just one night stay, consider good location which very near aljunied mrt station for my trip this time! Anyway management and staff quite friendly to me! I will come again next time! Tq

Bed in no window dormitory.
Bed in no window dormitory. It's dark 24/7, good for slleeping. Plus separation between each bunk bed so it feels like a capsule, just hanging my towel I can have a feeling of privacy. Not for claustrophobic people though. Staff and owner very friendsy with me and accomodating.
Woud be nice if there was a nicer living room area. But not really possible from the layout of the place. All in als the place is not super pretty but it's all very functional, which is thi most important during my stay.

OK. But you can find places with much cheaper price and better value.
The hostel is close to some hawkers and restaurants with cheap and tasty food.
The toilets are very small. There is always water on the toilets' floor. No place to do the laundry.
